Flow Cytometry

Flow cytometry enables visualization through Laser Induced Fluorescence (LIF) and allows simultaneous multiparametric analysis of physical and/or chemical characteristics of single cells flowing through an optical detection apparatus. UV based flow cytometry allows researchers to examine smaller and more sensitive cell structures. This growing field of biological research demands faster and more accurate test equipment.

The high repetition rate of the Series 3500 UV laser enables cell sorting without damage to the sample. Additionally, this pulsed operation offers the benefit of time-resolved measurements, making it an ideal source for this application.
